On September 27th,2023, We (TNC) signed a Letter of Agreement with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for the provision of technical services to "Support the Establishment and Management of designated Community Forests in selected Communities".
TNC assignment will support communities in the Northwest Forest Landscape to achieve Authorized Forest Community status.
This initiative is being funded by the Swedish Government - Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia through the FAO under the Community-Based Forest and Protected Area Management Project.
