Agricultural production is a leading cause of deforestation. But the two needn’t go hand-in-hand. With good land-use planning and strong partnerships, forests can be safeguarded while protecting food sources and livelihoods.
The EU REDD Facility’s Land-use Planner helps stakeholders develop land-use plans in a participatory way, and can assist transitions to deforestation-free commodity production.
