Nature Compact in collaboration with Wild Chimpanzee Foundation and The Forestry Development Authority concluded a weeklong Community Ecoguards training in Cestos City for the Cestos Sankwein Proposed Protected Area. This initiative is being supported by the EU under the ProBio Project.
The training focused on the use of GPS, Compass, Smart Phone as well as Species Identification and Patrol Planning and Methodology.
I’m so proud of our South East Team. We are managing to bring on additional community members to support community based biodiversity monitoring around the Proposed Protected Area.
