Last week, TNC supported the Community Forest Working Group (CFWG) to conduct Site-based verification of the FDA approved Nine Steps process that a community must go through to acquire an Authorized Forest Community status.
The verification was conducted in Kiteabo Applicant Community, Sarbo District, River Gee County.
The CFWG team had a fruitful interaction with members of the CF governance structures (CA, EC & CFMB) who are patiently waiting for the signing of the Community Forest Management Agreement with the FDA.
