We are committed to strengthening communities' capacity to improve forest governance.
In collaboration with the FDA, and with funding from the USAID, we have signed MOUs with 7 community forests management bodies to continue providing technical assistance and training to Community Forest Guards.
The forest guards are being trained in SMART https://smartconservationtools.org/ methodology, Biomonitoring, stakeholder engagement, awareness creation, law enforcement and forest patrol.
